IBM recently launched SmartCamp, a competition aimed at the best start-ups in the B2B space in India. It was the 1st of its kind competition in India and the primary objective was to identify and mentor start-ups focused on developing products for Enterprise customers. The overall theme of the competition was Big Data Analytics, Cloud Technologies and Internet of Things (IoT).
The competition was in line with IBM’s recent push towards selling its software products to small and early stage companies instead of purely focusing on large clients.
